Description: Lombardo was hired to wire saw a 150’ tall chimney and portions of the old drive-up ramp. The building was the old incinerator building for the city of Sacramento and was deemed unsafe and set to demolish. Due to the close proximity of the neighboring buildings, it was decided that the chimney would be cut an lowered with a crane. We drilled over 40.)  6”Ø  cores for the rigging and cut the stack into 10.) 10’ tall sections. The chimney was 8” thick concrete with an additional 12” of brick on the inside.
