Summary: The Sales Representative develops new business and retains and services clients in the specified geographic region. He/she is expected to satisfy our obligation to our customers in a safe and cost-effective manner. He/she will maintain a high degree of integrity, loyalty, and honesty. The Sales Representative helps define scope of work and provides price matrix for hourly rate and unit cost projects. They plan and facilitate the successful relationships between Lombardo and its customers. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Sales Representative is responsible for the representation of the company’s image. They manage a territory to create leads to acquire opportunities to price work for contractors, sub-contractors, as well as homeowners. They are the primary liaison between Lombardo’s customers and our estimators, dispatchers, and operators. The efforts of the Sales Representative are crucial to the success of the company. Functional Responsibilities Include:

Generates and develops new business to meet specific sales goals.
Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships
Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Plans and manages sales territory.
Responsible for overall customer service and satisfaction.
Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to new and existing clients.
Continually gathers information on local competition and prevalent industry and business climate within the region; communicates information to management and others when needed.
Provides timely and accurate reports as required.
Manages customer relationship database (CRM).
Attends and participates in team strategic sales meetings.

He/she will maintain a high degree of integrity, loyalty and honesty. Estimator/Project Managers define scope of work, provide estimates for cost, and determine the price for assigned projects. They plan and facilitate the execution of awarded projects and they maintain successful relationships between Lombardo and its customers. Estimator/Project Managers are responsible for maintaining accurate records on projects including project setup, schedules and tracking costs from the pre-construction to post-construction phase. They prepare reports and are responsible for multiple projects. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for creating professional estimates keeping in line with predetermined revenue targets and profitability. Estimators/Project Managers are responsible for the representation of the company’s image. The Estimator/Project Manager manages a territory to create leads to acquire opportunities to price work for contractors, sub-contractors, as well as homeowners. They are the primary liaison between Lombardo’s customers and our dispatchers and operators. The efforts of the Estimator/Project Manager are crucial to the success of the company. Functional Responsibilities Include:

Make accurate quantity surveys and estimate the cost of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor's work, ascertaining that all areas have been accounted for prior to submitting estimate for review.
Bid on projects as assigned
Forecasting, budgeting, tracking, and achieving monthly, quarterly, and quarterly revenue targets and goals.
Order and review Plans and Specifications
Estimate value of Lombardo’s services using company estimating software, pricing matrixes, and historical data.(Job complexity and value will dictate checks on pricing.
Work with subs and vendors for job pricing as needed
Review bids before distribution to customer with manager, as needed.
Verify bid proposal matches customer contract
Negotiate proposal vs. contract discrepancies with customer if necessary
Project setup, works with admin to prepare all required documentation and files
Manage the daily details of the project, including purchases, subcontracting, changes and coordination of office and field activities during the construction period.
Send bid to customer, follow up and track results
Prepare progress and final billing on all projects; and Business Development
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing customer base and new customers.
- Learn and understand competitors and their market relationships.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local agencies, architects, and engineering firms.
- Utilize daily publications, web sites and customer leads for projects to bid.
